  JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW

  Minutes of the JUNE 23, 1998 Meeting

A special meeting of the Jamestown Zoning Board of Review was held at the
Jamestown Town Hall, 93 Narragansett Avenue.
      The meeting was called to order by the Chairwoman at 7:01 p.m.  The
clerk called the roll and noted the following members present:

  Catherine Finney, Chairwoman
            Rolf Knudsen
            Richard Allphin
  Thomas Ginnerty
            Dennis Grieco
            Guy Settipane
   Raymond Iannetta

Also present were:
  Jane Fitts, Stenographer
  Pat Westall, Zoning Clerk
            Fred Brown, Zoning Officer
            Mary Jo Carr, Solicitor

Seated: Catherine, Rolf, Richard, Thomas, and Dennis.

MINUTES of MAY 28, 1998

A motion was made by Thomas Ginnerty and seconded by Richard Allphin to
accept the minutes of May 28, 1998 as written.

The motion to accept carried by a vote of 5 - 0.

CORRESPONDENCE

Coastal Features Volume VI, No.3.

Copy of a Notice of Violation from Fred Brown re: Plat 12, Lot 81.

OLD BUSINESS                

Hammett Court Special Use Permit

A motion was made by Thomas Ginnerty and seconded by Dennis Greico to
continue the Special Use Permit application of Hammett Court Properties to
the July 28, 1998 meeting at the request of the attorney for the
applicant.

The motion carried by a vote of 5 - 0.

Hammett Court Appeal

A motion was made by Thomas Ginnerty and seconded by Richard Allphin to
continue the appeal of Hammett Court to the July 28, 1998 meeting at the
request of the attorney for the applicant.

A motion was made by Dennis Greico and seconded by Guy Settipane
to amend the motion to continue the appeal of Hammet Court to the August
25, 1998 meeting.

The amended motion carried by a vote of 5 - 0. 

NEW BUSINESS

Mary Webster appeal

A motion was made by Thomas Ginnerty and seconded by Rolf Knudsen to
continue the appeal of Mary Webster to the July 28, 1998 meeting at the
request of the attorney for the applicant.

The motion carried by a vote of 5 - 0.

Complaint of Mary Webster
 
This item should have been on the agenda under correspondence and now can
be removed from the agenda. 

Craven

A motion was made by Thomas Ginnerty and seconded by Richard Allphin to
continue the application of Bruce Craven to the August 25, 1998 meeting at
the request of the attorney for the applicant. 

ADJOURNMENT

A motion was made to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.

The motion carried unanimously.
