PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

April 19, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members were present:

I. Approval of Minutes from April 5, 2006

A motion was made by Commissioner Calabretta and seconded by Commissioner Girard to accept the minutes as written. So unanimously voted. Commissioner Brown abstains.

1. Town Planner’s Report

The Town Planner will be in San Antonio for the national Planning Conference next Monday through Wednesday April 24-26^th.

VI. New Business

1. Town of Jamestown Water Treatment Plant/Water System Improvements - Development Plan Review in Public District

Steve Goslee and Michael Gray presented the application to the Planning Commission.

Commissioner Hubbard arrives at 7:37 p.m.

A discussion ensued with the Planning Commission and Mr. Gray and Mr. Goslee. Commissioner Girard made a motion and Commissioner Calabretta seconded the motion to forward this to the Zoning Board with a recommendation for approval. So unanimously voted.

2. 2006 Zoning Ordinance Update & Design Guidelines – Review of Request for Qualifications

The Planning Commission reviewed the Request for Qualifications/Proposal and had some general questions. The Planning Commission would like the Town Planner to proceed with soliciting bids.
