PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
December 19, 2001

Town Council Work Session with the Planning Commission
Re: Zoning Ordinance Amendments
Town Planner Lisa Bryer gave a brief synopsis of the work that has
been done on the following proposed and draft amendments: Open
Space/Public Zone, Accessory Structures/Buildings, Aquaculture, Businesses
Operating from Marinas including Ferry Service and Parking, and the High
Groundwater Table.
A discussion ensued with the Town Council offering their input and
direction to the Planning, Commission.
The planning meeting was called to order at 10:00 p.m. and the
following members were present:
Rob Lambert Betty Hubbard
Mary Brennan Dennis Webster
Sue Barker
Also present:
Lisa Bryer, AICP, Town Planner
Cinthia Reppe - Recording Clerk
I. Reading and Approval of Minutes from December 5, 2001
A motion was made by Commissioner Hubbard and seconded by
Commissioner Barker to accept the minutes with the following change:
Page 3, delete "It was suggested that this will be advertised as
separate amendments.
This issue will be on the agenda for the next meeting."
So voted:
Rob Lambert - Aye Betty Hubbard - Aye
Mary Brennan - Aye Dennis Webster - Aye
Sue Barker - Aye
Motion passes by a vote of 5-0
II. Correspondence
1. FYI - Minutes from the Antenna Town Subcommittee. Received
Commissioner Brennan read the Memo that she drafted to the Town
Council regarding sidewalks and curbing for the 2002-2003 budget.
Commissioner Webster made a motion that was seconded
III. Citizen's Non Agenda Item - nothing at this time
IV. Reports - nothing at this time

V. Old Business
1. Open Space / Public Zoning - Discussion
2. High Groundwater Table Ordinance - Discussion
A motion was made by Commissioner Lambert and seconded by
Commissioner Webster to continue these issues until the next meeting.
All in Favor
Aquaculture and Businesses operating from a Marina will be on the
next agenda also.
VI. New Business
1. Consistent Care Corporation - Gail M. Sheahan - request to
discuss Adult Day Care
Ms. Sheahan called the library to say she could not make it to the
meeting. This issue is tabled until further notice.
