PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
September 19, 2001

The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members
were present:

I. Reading and Approval of Minutes from September 5, 2001
A motion was made by Commissioner Calabretta and seconded by Commissioner
Schnack to approve the minutes as written. So voted:

Laura Aibel - aye Dennis Webster - aye
Michael Schnack - aye
Motion passes by a vote of 7-0
II. Correspondence - nothing at this time
III. Citizen's Non Agenda Item - nothing at this time
IV. Reports
a. Town Planner's Submitted Report
b. Town Committees
Quonset-Davisville
Commissioner Webster reported that on Tuesday September 25, 2001 there
will be a public hearing to go over the Master Plan for the Industrial
Park.
c. Sub Committees
Commissioner Brennan reported that the Tree Committee will be doing an
inventory of the trees in Jamestown on Saturday September 29, 2001.
V. Old Business
1. Comprehensive Community Plan - Final Document
After a brief discussion of a few items that need to be finalized for the
Comprehensive Community Plan, a motion was made by Commissioner Calabretta
and seconded by Commissioner Schnack to forward the Plan to the Town
Council once the minor changes are made by the Town Planner Lisa Bryer.
So voted:

Betty Hubbard - aye Victor Calabretta - aye
Laura Aibel - aye Dennis Webster - aye
Michael Schnack - aye
Motion passes by a vote of 7-0
2. Discussion of Outstanding Zoning Ordinance Amendments
A motion was made by Commissioner Brennan and seconded by Commissioner
Schnack to send a memo to the Town Council reminding the newly elected
council that amendments on Aquaculture and Businesses operating from
Marinas including Ferry Service and Parking were previously forwarded with
no action. So voted:

Betty Hubbard - aye Victor Calabretta - aye
Laura Aibel - aye Dennis Webster - aye
Michael Schnack - aye
Motion passes by a vote of 7-0
The Planning Commission will work concurrently on the High Groundwater
Table and Old Open Space and Municipal Zoning ordinance amendments, the
kennel and maximum size of accessory structures and buildings amendments
will be handled last.
V. New Business - nothing at this time
A motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Aibel and seconded by
Commissioner Schnack at 8:29 p.m. All in Favor.
