The Junior Women's Club of Jamestown is an organization of women who, through social and fund raising events, strive to enhance the quality of community life in Jamestown.

Some of our big community service projects are:

  • The Jamestown Telephone Directory
  • Donation of Hot Chocolate and Donuts at the town Annual Christmas tree lighting.
  • Easter Egg Hunt on Shoreby Hill for youngsters.
  • Children's Christmas Bazaar
  • Sell balloons at the Memorial Day Parade.
  • Continuing sponsor of youth sports teams, 6th Grade Class trip to Alton Jones
  • Daffodil Days for the American Cancer Society
  • Scholarships for Jamestown's 8th Graders and Seniors.
  • Donations to the Boy Scouts
  • Jamestown’s Jack-o-Lantern Jog
  • Secret Santa for a needy family
  • Individual requests for various things.

The Junior Women’s Club of Jamestown welcomes new members!

Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Pemberton Apartments Community Room, 45 Pemberton Avenue, at 7:30 p.m., September through June. For information, write to P.O. Box 412.
